What is Dunstan Baby Language?
The Dunstan Baby
System is a breakthrough in parent/infant communication, developed by
Australian mum, Priscilla Dunstan. Taught via a DVD/booklet set, the System
teaches parents the "words” for the 5 everyday needs of hunger, lower
wind, need to burp, tiredness and discomfort, that all babies use from
birth. How it works
The Dunstan Baby Language teaches you to hear exactly what your baby is communicating. As a parent, you are able to interpret your infant’s sounds and cries – and respond to their needs.
Every newborn communicates from birth to 3 months using 5
distinct sounds, or “words” to express their physical needs.
This is regardless of the language their parents speak and is part of
nature’s plan – that your baby can tell you what they need from the very beginning.
For example, every baby will say the word “neh” when hungry. The sooner ‘hunger’ is identified the sooner a parent can respond by feeding.
The system will teach you that your baby’s first communications occur before crying develops. The sooner you recognise the sounds and their meaning the quicker needs will be met. Your baby will become more relaxed, confident and happy – and so will you.
These sounds or “words” form the basis of the Dunstan Baby Language. In addition to teaching you how to tune your ear to the 5 words, the DVD program also takes you through settling solutions, as well as helpful tips and advice. You will also view Priscilla in a ‘live lesson’, teaching new mothers the system with immediate results.
