Food Ideas for baby aged 6-7 months
- Iron fortified rice cereal mixed with breast milk,
formula or cooled boiled water.
- Vegetables (pureed) such as potato, pumpkin, sweet
potato,carrot, broccoli, peas, zuchini.
- Stewed apples, peaches, pears, apricots (no extra
sugar).
- Mashed soft avocado.
Food Ideas for baby aged 8-10 months
Apart from giving your baby at least 500-600 ml of breast/formula
milk everyday you can try below mentioned food ideas.
- Mashed potato and broccoli with cheese
- cootage cheese with fruit
- Sliced soft fruit( bannana,kiwi or mango)
- small sandwiches with a smear of cream cheese or
avocado
- caulifower with cheese
- carefully deboned white fish
- Mashed beans or lentils
- oats porridge
- cooked white or brown rice
Food Ideas for baby aged 10-12 months
Your baby can now have chopped or half mashed form of
food.
- Chopped cooked vegetables and fruits.
- steamed florets of broccolli as finger food
- Sliced soft fruit( bannana,kiwi or mango)
- well cooked pasta with minced chicken and a tomato
sauce
- steamed chopped spinach and cootage cheese
- a slice of fruit bread
- sandwiches with mashed tuna
- cooked rice with peas and carrot.
- Thick lentil soup.
